Personalised Year 6 Maths SATs revision plan

It can be difficult to get an accurate picture of how well your child is doing in maths. If your child is labelled as “expected” this can mean different things for each child. It doesn’t identify that they may be secure in number but have huge gaps in Geometry. They may be very good at Arithmetic but need support with word problems.  At the start of the school year, a teacher cannot accurately judge a pupil against topics they have not covered yet. That is where my assessment is invaluable. It will provide in depth understanding of exactly what your child already knows and what they need to know.

As well as identifying areas of knowledge, I also assess a child’s attitude to maths and find out about their preferred styles of learning. I use all of this information to devise a detailed SATs revision plan, that is completely bespoke to them and their unique and specific needs and is suited to their strengths and weaknesses. I design each plan with the goal of giving them the best chance of obtaining their highest score.
